What is SOS?
Successfully Orienting Students (SOS) is Auburn’s one-day transfer orientation program, which emphasizes campus life and services.
Why attend SOS?
SOS will help ensure you are ready for your first year at Auburn. At SOS, you will meet with your academic advisor and have small group discussions on college life and resources led by Auburn student leaders.
You must attend SOS to register for your classes or to keep the pre-registered schedule being provided to you.
Be sure to register for an orientation session sooner rather than later.
Transfer Tip: Auburn offers transfer students a one-time opportunity to be pre-registered for your classes. To receive this tremendous advantage, make sure you are accepted, paid your $200 confirmation deposit, and submit the Transfer Plan of Study by March 1 if you are starting in the summer or fall, or October 1st if you are starting in the spring. For more information, visit the Successfully Orienting Students website.
